2010 CRIA ARRIVE
Our females have begun to give birth to this year\'s offspring, with a variety of colours so far. If you are interested in keeping alpacas and would like to see them, this is an excellent time with cria around. We would also be pleased to give prospective new owners an introductory course on basic husbandry, with no obligation to buy. Otherwise, see you at the GARLIC FESTIVAL in mid August! Contact Craig on 01983 880073 for an appointment.
NEW ARRIVALS AT SEAVIEW
Isle of Wight Alpacas have been delighted to have been able to supply Seaview Wildlife Encounter with their first alpacas, Garnet and Augustus, who will now be on show to the public. We wish them all the very best and this will allow the public to see alpacas up close. For information and photos visit.www.flamingoparkiw.com.
KILLAWASI STILL HOLDING HIS OWN!
Against strong competition, Langaton Killawasi did well to take a 4th place rosette at the South of England Show in a key class for stud males, the Adult White Huacaya. His offspring, Centurion Pyrite, took 2nd in Class for Junior Fawn females.
SHOW SUCCESS!
Having not shown for some time, we felt that we had some quality alpacas that would be worthy of a visit to the South of England Show at Ardingly; this show attracted some top alpaca studs including Bozedown, Anzac, The Alpaca Stud. We did very well for such a small breeder, with Centurion Pyrite taking second place in her Junior Fawn Class and our stud male, Langaton Killawasi, taking 4th place in a highly competitive Adult Male White Class.
