Isle of Wight Alpacas
Quartz Alpaca

Martin and Craig started Isle of Wight Alpacas in 2004, having met some of these enchanting animals at a friend's farm. They were looking for something a little different as a hobby, and needed to keep the paddocks in good order. The alpacas have certainly not disappointed, as they are inquisitive, hardy, good natured and pretty animals. Martin and Craig have gained in experience rapidly, attending alpaca training courses and shows on the mainland. Indeed in 2005 they tried their hand at showing, with Isle of Wight Alpacas' stud male, Meon Valley Mazo, gaining a rosette at the Royal Bath and West Show, which is the biggest show in Europe.

Although still a small herd, they aim to continually improve the quality, whilst offering potential clients realistic prices and an excellent support service.
